Abstract
This thesis deals with the influence of the geometric dimensions of a glass surface on changes in the parameters of the acoustic spectrum during its destruction. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate, on the basis of experimental measurements, the relationship between the dimensional characteristics of glass panes and the acoustic response generated during their destruction.
The theoretical part summarizes knowledge in the field of acoustics, vibration mechanics, and
acoustic emission, as well as the physical and strength properties of glass and the principles of its destruction. The practical part focuses on the design and implementation of the experiment, the recording of acoustic signals during destruction, and their subsequent spectral analysis.
