Abstract

LAŠTÍK, Martin. Re-design of foot bridge structure in Dolný Kubín, Slovak Republic. Ostrava, 2016. Bachelor thesis. VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, p 96. supervisor: Ing. Miroslav Rosmanit, Ph.D. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a numerical model of the suspension footbridge in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia. The model had been prepared in the SCIA Engineer software. The thesis analyzes the issue of steel footbridges and dynamic load with respect to the code. Functionality of the model and assessment of the primary supporting structure are verified with hands calculations. Later in the thesis the main structural elements are assessed according to ČSN EN and STN EN code. The frequency of the construction had been calculated and the measures of improvement the dynamic response are proposed. Primary drawing documentation and cross-section of the cross frame assembly are included in this thesis.
