Dostupnost zdravotní péče a hospodaření soukromých praktických lékařů

Abstract

This Master thesis is dealing with financial management of two Private General Practitioners in years 2006 - 2010. The aim is to create recommendations to improve the management based on an analysis of the past development between years 2006 – 2010 and consequently judge on the influence of availability on it. In order to reach the aim we have set two hypothesis. Hypothesis H1: The financial management of the private general practitioners between years 2006 – 2010 is surplus. Hypothesis H2: Health care availability is the most important factor when choosing a General Practicioner. The thesis includes description of health policy with focus on health care system in general. It deals with health care as a system with its subjects and models. Last but not least, financing of health care and principles of financing health care at general practitioners financial management are described. The thesis also deals with the influence of health care availability on the general practitioners’ financial management and the preferences of patients are collected through a survey.
