Abstract

The goal of the bachelor’s thesis was to find out how are citizens informed about social services acting on the territory of Orlová town, to analyze, how do citizens exploit the communication means, and to find new, more effective methods. There are the characteristic of the Orlová town and its services mentioned in the introduction, in the theoretical part, there are such concepts defined as social services, providers of social services and also theoretical basis regarding the marketing communication. The practical part contains the methodics of research, including the way of data collecting, which has proceeded through personal questioning. The analysis of gained data then follows and evaluation of actual marketing communication in social services. On the basis of research results, there are suggestions and recommendations submitted, that will lead to improvement of actual communication. The communication model is also created and new means of communication are suggested, that can lead to improvement of overall propagation.
