Abstract

This work is focused on the analysis of behavior and rehabilitation of slope instability Ujala in the Karviná area. The thesis is based on newly created geological cross sections and engineering geological models of the locality of interest. For their creation were used freely available public information sources, documents of the company K-GEO, Ltd. and non-public data of the Czech Geological Survey. A total of 3 imaginary geological cross sections were constructed for the thesis. Based on these cross sections are modified engineering geological models used in the calculation of stability and slope deformation. To evaluate the slope deformation behavior, quantities such as slope deformation, shear strength pumping or change in pore pressures were sought. The calculations were carried out in specialized software by force methods and finite element methods. Programs Geo5 and Plaxis 2D were used.
