Variabilita výhřevnosti směsného komunálního odpadu v závislosti na jeho materiálové skladbě

Abstract

The prime goal of this diploma thesis is exploring the impacts of material composition of the mixed municipal waste on its calorific value. In the first part of this thesis, there are described the basic waste issues, its dividing as well as handling with it. There is further described the composition of the mixed municipal waste whose comprehensive analysis is contained in the following experimental part of this thesis. The next part of this thesis deals with the procedure applied in the energetic utilisation of mixed municipal waste by means of the WTE technology (a special technological facility for energetic utilisation of waste). In the experimental part of this thesis, there will be also described (together with sampling methods) procedures applied in analysing the mixed municipal waste. Another topic of the experimental part of this thesis is determining a model composition of the mixed municipal waste and calculating its calorific value (depending on material composition). Based on values obtained, there shall be evaluated the calorific value alternations depending on material composition as well as reviewed eventual impacts on combustion process in the WTE facility.
