Abstract

HEBRONOVÁ, Petra. Protection of Immovable Cultural Monuments by Water-based Fire Extinguishing Systems. Ostrava, 2021. Diploma thesis, VŠB – TU Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering. This thesis solves the problem of immovable cultural monuments from the point of view of fire protection. Especially the thesis focuses on the equipment with a water stable fire extinguisher system. The thesis focuses on fires which affect the historical monuments and the thesis also focuses on legislation, which solves the problem of monumental object and also SHZ system. Very important part of this thesis is the description of the water stable fire-fighting device and their use in practice. The thesis mainly focuses on a fog SHZ system. The fog SHZ system introduces a novelty compared to the more well-known sprikler equipmnet, we use it more often. Part of the thesis is also a comparison of the mentioned systems. We can read about the problem of financing and costs there.
