Využití destrukce toxických odpadů na bázi aromatických látek z hlediska ochrany ŽP

The presence of aromatic nitro compounds in waste poses risk for both humans and environment. The thesis is focused on methods of aromatic nitro compounds destruction. For that, nitrobenzene was selected as an aromatic nitro compound representative and several destruction methods conducted in micro and semimicro scale were evaluated. The results show reduction of nitrobenzene using zinc and hydrochloric acid followed by oxidization using potassium permanganate and sulphuric acid and incineration to be the most suitable ways of nitrobenzene liquidation. Although destruction of nitrobenzene using hydrogen peroxide and microwaves is possible, its reproducibility is low and therefore, the method needs further exploration.
