This bachelor thesis is focused on the method of resolving bankrupt legal entities or person. Insolvency of the debtor is solving by selling estates which is monetization by the insolvency administrator. Proceeds monetization of the assets are used for satisfaction the debtor’s creditors thus secured and unsecured creditors, subcontractors, employees and the state. The main purpose of this procedure is strengthening certainty of creditor that his claim will be repaid. To achieve this, I use methods of analysis and comparison. This thesis compares previous and actual legislation and evaluates all important changes of insolvency law.
