Abstract
The bachelor work is aimed on one of the kinds of flue gas desulphurization of the thermal power station in the Czech Republic. In our case it concerns about the wet limestone process installed in Power Station Počerady. The aim of the desulphurization is mainly to reduce the SO2 (sulphur dioxide) in the flue gas. The FGD (flue gas desulphurization) gypsum as produkt from the desulphurization is following used for production of building material, for example the plaster wallboards.
