Abstract

The thesis focuses on the development of a framework for managing improvement projects in small manufacturing companies. The theoretical part describes lean management and its methods and different approaches to project management. The tools and methods were evaluated for applicability in a small manufacturing enterprise and compiled into a coherent framework. The result is a software tool that enables the management of improvement projects even within a smaller enterprise.
