Abstract

This bachelor thesis entitled Data Boxes in Business and Deficiencies of their Legal and Technical Processing deals with data boxes and their legal and technical deficiencies. In terms of its content the thesis is divided into four parts.

The first part deals with the characteristics of public administration, business and communication, which currently takes place through the data boxes. Data boxes were created as a part of eGovernment, therefore, the second part is devoted to the eGovernment and particularly the description of its individual parts.

The third section describes the basic laws governing the data box and acts associated with it. There are explained basic terms such as data box, data message, data exchange system and authorized document conversion and there is described communication itself through data boxes.

The fourth section presents and analyzes a selection of legal and technical deficiencies data boxes with which entrepreneurs may face in their business.
