Abstract

The goal of my bachelor's thesis is to create an interior sculpture of my own design from pewter bronze and a wooden base. The theoretical part deals with the essence and overall description of mushrooms and their role for the surrounding world. I will describe in detail their coexistence with other organisms, their use by humans, and lastly, I will focus on the depiction of mushrooms in art and their roles in culture. The experimental part describes how I got to the tin plastic. It started with my designs, continued to the production of a clay model, then to silicone molds and finally to the production of a sand mold and the casting of tin bronze and its subsequent processing. The result of the work is a sculpture of mushrooms placed in a wooden base.
