Ekonomické důsledky populačního stárnutí se zaměřením na Moravskoslezský kraj

Abstract

The diploma thesis summarizes the fundamental findings concerning the population ageing phenomenon. It is primarily focused on the process and the intensity of population ageing in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The first part of the diploma thesis introduces the analysis of the age structure in the Czech Republic and the Moravian-Silesian Region in the years 1991, 2001 and 2009. The analysis provides the basis for comparison of the intensity of population ageing process. The following part of the thesis deals with the development strategy in the Moravian-Silesian Region with the intention of population ageing. The conclusion summarizes the activities of the regional authority and selected municipalities in the Moravian-Silesian Region concerning the population ageing. The selected municipalities are Havirov, Opava and Ostrava.
