Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with Internet of Things. The aim of this work is to describe the use of this technology in different sectors and to acquaint the reader with this modern concept. This work then describes the history, suggests the economic benefits of this technology for medium-sized businesses and also, outlines security risks and overall security problems. Practical part of this work, despite agreed cooperation with two companies could not be fully realized due to the quarantine, that was announced on 16th of March 2020 in the Czech Republic and also their reluctance to provide information in these difficult times.
