Abstract

The thesis brings insight into the virtual reality and its usage. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on advancement in the virtual reality technologies, its basic principles and the possibilities of using virtual reality in practice. Furthermore, it takes close look at its use in education and training for safety and security workers. Finally, in the practical part the thesis contains possible solution for creation of authentic 3D models of real objects that are intended for implementation into a virtual world of XVR training scenarios.
