Abstract
The goal of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the employee selection, and recruitment process in the selected organization. The thesis uses quantitative and qualitative research methods in the form of questionnaires, analysis of organization’s document and interview. Diploma thesis is composed of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part describes the basic concepts like human resources management, planning and hiring employees, there are also defined and desribed terms of procedures and principles of correct implementation of the selection process, recruitment and adaptation of employees. Practical part characterizes the selected organization, where the research was carried out. The practical part also evaluates the current situation of the investigated issues. The conclusion based on the gained information provides suggestions and recommendations to improve the current recruitment process.
