The aim of this thesis is to assess the risk of metallurgical processes in relation to external OHS services. The thesis presents the basic statutory regulations which establish requirements to ensure the health and safety protection at work. The company provided data are processed into an analysis of the causes and sources of work-related accidents. The analysis of occupational risks is performed by VÚBP method. In concluding part are proposed measures how to increase safety and reduce occupational risks.
