Abstract
Basis of Thesis experimental part was to induce pinole in greay cast iron. Research was done on experimental rods with various side thickness and various delivery value. These rods were formed into wet sand with various moisture while monitoring level of combustible matter. Aluminium content in liquid cast from which were the rods cast have been changed and chemical composition watched.
Evaluation of experimental rods showed, that moisture level of forming compound is ambiguous for pinole forming. Influence of Al for pinole forming was confirmed according to literature.
