Abstract

The Diploma Thesis is focused on economic performance assessment of the manufacturing company greiner packaging s.r.o. (Ltd.), carried out using standardized performance indicators and the value performance indicator – Economic Value Added (EVA). Based on the outcomes of these indicators and also a strategic analysis, the thesis finds out several suggestions and recommendations which might contribute in the company's performance increase. The work of itself is divided into three parts. The theoretical part puts in place a literary grounding for the applied performance indicators and analytical methods. The practical part demonstrates the company's analysis as well as the selected methods for economic performance assessment. The final part of the thesis defines the particular suggestions and recommendations mentioned above.
