Abstract

The thesis is focused on the physical protection of the emergency medical services crew. The main aim is to design the elements of physical protection as well as technical security of the first aid car during rescue operations. The introduction describes legal essentials of the issue. In the theoretical part the basic elements of the medical emergency services with the types of emergency squad are defined. Another part refers to the types of aggression including statistical data of the number of attacked rescue workers. In the practical part analytical methodology is listed to determine the extent of the risk of emergency medical services and the appropriate innovative measures to increase crew safety are suggested.
