Abstract
Modbus is one of the most widely used protocols for data transmissions in telemetric systems. Goal of the diploma thesis is implementation of this protocol in a form of driver–converter between Modbus and protocol used by control and data acquisition system Telemat developed by company Tele Data System. Driver will add to the system ability to connect various new kinds of telemetric stations.
