Abstract

This thesis focuses on the possibilities for continuous measurement of temperature of steel in the tundish. Fourth Industrial Revolution is the name for the current trend of simplification work through the introduction of automation in the industry. Temperature measurement accuracy steel in the tundish is crucial to control the casting speed, the issue of product quality or freezing steel in the tundish. Possibilities measuring steel temperature in the tundish are still mainly sophisticated measurement accuracy. This thesis aims to compare the possibilities of continuous temperature measurement in tundish.
