Abstract

The bachelor thesis is mainly search character. It deals with aluminum products from the beginning of their acquisition through the production process and their use to their destruction or recycling. It describes the composition and properties of aluminum, whether as an element or in the form of various compounds. The work is then focused on beverage cans made of aluminum. It describes the history of beverage packaging production, production, utilization, collection and recycling. The greater part is devoted to the collection of beverage packaging both in the Czech Republic and abroad, including their recycling. Part of the work is also devoted to quantitative field survey in the form of a questionnaire, which was applied to two hundred and eight randomly selected respondents who are students of four secondary schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim of the questionnaire survey was to obtain and process data to contribute to the design of the collection and recycling of aluminum waste.
