Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on the conversion of the powertrain of a racing kart from a fossil fuel burning drive to a purely electric drive. The various components required for the installation of an electric drive are presented. The individual steps for the placement and attachment of the necessary components are discussed. Modifications and fabrication of the sub-parts required for fitting the selected components. Painting of the frame and subsequent assembly of the electric drive components.
