Abstract

The diploma thesis deals proposes to improve the image of volleyball club and improve marketing communications in this club. The goal is to determine the use of communication tools, and the satisfaction with them. The diploma thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are described the image and description of the marketing mix. In the characteristics is described Volleyball Club SK UP Olomouc and its marketing activities. The practical part includes marketing research which I conducted by using of the focus group and a questionnaire. Next part of the practical part are the analysis of the results from the focus group and questionnaire and then finding out the opinions and suggestions of respondents and afterwards the recommendations for the improving the image of the club and marketing activities of the club.
