Abstract

The requirements of this master thesis were based on the need to create a tool for setting up a controller of stepper motors. The thesis describes the basic classification of stepper motors, their basic principles, and the methods of controlling of stepper motors. The following part of the work describes the controllers of stepper motors and types of communication with the controllers. The practical part deals with implementation of a device projected. It includes description of the structure and electrical connection of the device projected. It also contains description of the main parts that were used within the connection and their mutual communication. The last part of the thesis deals with creation of the microcontroller program.
