Abstract
Rising influence of generation Y and rapid growth of technology development lead to gradual changes in education. If we look at this fact from a global perspective, we find that unlike the Czech Republic, in the world especially in the USA e-learning is almost standard. The main objective of this thesis is the analysis of competition on the online educational market, identification of the biggest competitors of company Scholasticus Ltd. and comparing the service levels of individual competitors. The standard for e-learning courses' evaluation is not firmly set in the Czech Republic. To obtain the data, these methods were used: mystery shopping, mystery calling, mystery mailing and secondary data analysis. Based on the information it was possible to make a comparison between competitors companies, according to the selected criteria. Companies were compared and evaluated using comparative analysis. The outcomes of this thesis are several recommendations that could help Scholasticus Ltd. to increase its competitiveness on the online educational market and fulfill their goal to become a leader of the Czech online educational market within three years.
