Abstract
This thesis is focused on mass decontamination of people, carried by fire/rescue service units in the Czech Republic. The outset deals with basic concepts of decontamination. It further describes the procedures, activities and technical devices of fire/rescue service units during decontamination of persons from hazardous materials. To compare the issue of mass decontamination in Czech Republic, the author has chosen the methods and procedures of fire fighters in United States of America.
