Ekonomické aspekty těžby černého uhlí v České republice se zaměřením na Moravskoslezský kraj

Abstract

Aim of this work is to evaluate the various economic aspects of coal mining in the Czech Republic. In the practical part of the description and the method used to assess the employment data and macroeconomic data comparison method . The work is divided into three main parts. Coal is one of the most important natural resources of the Czech Republic , and are therefore in the first part describes the basic characteristics ( the use of coal in power and heat production and steel). Also included is a professional research that confirms or refutes the contrary, the positive aspects of coal mining . The second part is focused on the firm OKD, which is located in the Karviná and the only producer of hard coal in the Czech Republic , describes the basic characteristics of the company , is also shown the number of employees and OKD impact on employment of the Moravian-Silesian Region. In the last part of the study assessed the macroeconomic data , these values ​​show positive economic aspects of coal mining in the Czech Republic , however, are detected and negative aspects of mining.
