The thesis addresses the issue of processing food waste through home vermicomposting. It focuses on analyzing the most common problems that may arise during the process and proposes measures to minimize them. The work includes a design for a system of food waste collection and storage in households, with an emphasis on practical recommendations for sorting, storing, and preventing odor or the occurrence of unwanted organisms. The aim is to make vermicomposting more accessible to the general public and to promote its expansion as an effective method of food waste management.
