Abstract

Purpose of this thesis is a verification of bioleaching toxic metals and other waste from mining. Localities like an old environmental drains, especially sludge lagoons, disposal site of fly ash and sludges, are significant sources of contamination environment, result of industrial activity. Aim of this thesis is a verification of effectiveness orders Cupriavidus metallidurans and Cupriavidus oxalaticus in bioleaching, which releases toxic metals from contaminate sediments, this process increases their mobility in surroundings. Prospect for practical application in biotechnological processes. Experiments, which were progressing for 28 days at room temperature 25°C, demonstrated significant abilities orders unfix arsenic, orders activity reduced arsenic amount in samples approximately about 97 %. Results prove high potential bakterium C. metallidurans and C. oxalaticus.
