Abstract
Thanks to alteration clay minerals you can change their sorption properties and increase their usefulness in practice. Object of this submitted labor is research in adsorption Cr(VI) from the model solutions and subsequent desorption. As an absorbents were used samples of bentonite and kaolin from two locations which were provided by Sedlecký kaolin a.s. On the crude samples were carried out these analysis: Sieve analysis, granularity, RTG, XRF, SEM, IR spectroscopy and iodine number. Samples were further modified by three different chemicals (H2SO4, HDTMA and ODA) about three different concentrations. All modified and crude samples were tested in the process of adsorption on a model solution of Cr(VI). The kinetics of adsorption were designated and the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms commented on. Desorption process was performed on selected samples intercalated ODA. As a desorption agent were used NaHCO3 and H2SO4. On the end analysis were performed again (RTG, SEM, IČ spectroscopy and iodine number) on samples after modification and desorption.
