Kamenolom Chraberce - návrh na využití kamenolomu po ukončení těžby

Abstract

The presented work focuses on mining of basalt by the company Eurovia, Ltd. in the region of Protected landscape area České středohoří, concretely in the plant of Chraberce. The work deals with the origin of vulcanic rock, the way of mining, processing and its following utilization in industry and architecture. The last part, in the form of three possible proposals , suggests the possible use of the stonemine in Chraberce for the recreation purposes after the mine closing. The new use of the locality of Chraberce should lead to the spread of tourism in the region of Louny.
