Abstract

NOVÁKOVÁ, Patricie: Variant solution of reinforced concrete ceilings of the sports and relaxation center, Ostrava, 2026. Bachelor thesis, 63 pages. VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Structural Mechanics. Supervisor of the Bachelor thesis: Ing. Jana Vašková, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of reinforced concrete slabs of a sports and recreation centre. A computational model was created in Scia Engineer version 25.0 to determine internal forces, while the actual design and verification of structural elements were carried out manually in accordance with the applicable European standard ČSN EN 1992-1-1. The thesis focuses on three variants of the structural design of the building with different types of slab systems, which are subsequently compared with each other. The work also includes reinforcement drawings of selected load-bearing elements.
