Vyhodnocení protipovodňových opatření na řece Olši

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on flood protection of rivers, spececificaly on protextion of the Olše river. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the area, historical floods, previous, current and planned flood protection measures on the Olše. In the practical part a risk analysis was carried out for the town of Jablunkov and a possible future flood prevention for this area was proposed. The aim of this thesis was to analyze current flood control measures in the Olše river basin and to propose improvements of flood control measures in the studied area.
