Experimentální pracoviště pro intrusivní hodnocení kvality hovoru

Abstract

This thesis deals with methods of assessing the quality of a speech mostly by intrusive methods and their application in an experimental workplace. The workplace is created on an IP telephony using Asterisk software and it is implemented at two PCs. The PCs communication between each other and entire communication is recorded. Communication is simulated with a variable delay and packet-loss caused by transmission channel. The effect of the transmission channel is simulated by using the software Netem. The final quality using freely available PESQ algorithm will then evaluated in this communication. A theoretical part of my work deals with a various methods of rating of speech quality and Asterisk software. Work also deals with its possibilities, development and multifunctionality as a software for building PBXs.
