Abstract
The main aim of this thesis is the genesis of the mathematical model that allows predicting extent of damage cassettes for the computed radiography, depending on distance from the source of radiation. These cassettes of imaging plates are used for a skiagraphy. The appropriate distance for placement of the imaging plate provides the distance from the secondary radiation produced by the patient during the exposing by the primary X-ray. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes ionizing radiation, skiagraphy, secondary radiation and segmentation method for image processing. The practical part is based on the experiment that has the target to get the images with secondary radiation during the exposing of patient by fixed and portable X-ray machine. After that the images were process and the greyscale of secondary radiation in the image was determined, then obtained data was statistically evaluated and the appropriate distance for placement of cassette was decided.
