Abstract

The Diploma Thesis called Library Uherske Hradiste and deals with complex solution of the place next to a former synagogue on the ring road with close connection to the city center. It is a conversion of unused room in urban area and to create a new cultural building to improve the public amenities of the city. Also, there is considered of a new feature cultural monuments of the former Jewish synagogue, now, it is used as a public library but it is not big enought for needs of the city. The aim of the project is the design of a new library in urban structure and the further use of existing buildings in the relation to the transfer of its current functions. Accordingly, the project is sorted like it. At first, there are drawings of the new bulding and after it of the synagogue.
