Faktory efektivity veřejných zakázek v oblasti veřejné dopravy Moravskoslezského kraje

Abstract

The Master’s thesis subject is the evaluation of two ways in which the public transport service is provided in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim of the thesis is to assess whether the new way that was introduced in the Moravian-Silesian Region in 2015 is economically and ecologically more efficient and whether this way motivates carriers to provide better quality of public transport services. This thesis is divided into two main parts, a theoretical part and an analytical one. Transport is described at the beginning with its characteristics and its importance for society. The theoretical part focuses only on public suburban transport in the Moravian-Silesian Region, characterises transport services and analyses its financing. At the end, the Master‘s thesis compares both ways of providing transport services in selected areas of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
