Aplikace pro pásmo milimetrových vln (mmWave) v kampusové 5G síti

Abstract

Diplomová práce pojednává o použití technologie mmWave 5G b kampusové síti VŠB-TUO. Práce teoreticky popisuje vlastnosti mmWave a rozdíly mezi 5G mmWave a 5G sub-6 pásmu. Dále práce poukazuje na kampusovou síti a podrobně popisuje její potřebné a důležité součásti. Práce také poukazuje na koncové zařízení, které lze použít v sítích mmWave. V poslední již praktické části se práce zaměřuje na zjištění možností a vlastností mmWave a komunikaci koncových zařízení v síti. Práce nakonec poukazuje na možné praktické využití, které jsou vhodné pro mmWave.

The thesis deals with the use of mmWave 5G technology in the campus network of VŠB-TUO. The thesis theoretically describes the characteristics of mmWave and the differences between 5G mmWave and 5G sub-6 band. Furthermore, the thesis highlights the campus network and describes its necessary and important components in detail. The thesis also highlights the terminal equipment that can be used in mmWave networks. In the last already practical part, the thesis focuses on finding out the capabilities and features of mmWave and the communication of end devices in the network. Finally, the thesis highlights possible practical applications that are suitable for mmWave.
