Vliv ekonomického cyklu na mezinárodní migraci

Abstract

Migration has been associated with humanity since the beginning of the ages. It is the natural movement of the population under relatively better conditions for a variety of reasons. The aim of thesis is to analyze the influence of the economic cycle on international migration in the world. We want to see if the economic cycle and its sudden fluctuations impact on global migration. Using a pure regression model, panel data were tested in 6 countries, namely the USA, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Finland and the United Kingdom, between 2000 and 2015. The largest impact on immigration have GDP, foreigners, unemployment and the population.
