Abstract
The regional brand Tradition of the White Carpathians exists since 1998 and has been established to promote regional products and the region itself. At the time of its establishment it was the first transfrontier brand in Central Europe. Concept of this brand approximates to the „Domestic products“ system of regional brands in Czech Republic, but it does not belong into this group. As a result there are certain specific issues concerning marketing and searching for new brand holders.
The aim of this study is to propose possible new brand holders fulfilling the required conditions and to propose recommendations for the brand marketing managment to support its further development.
