Abstract

This thesis describes tire processing using pyrolysis process and separation of heavy metals using activated solid rest of pyrolysis. In the experimental part a heavy metal sorption was conducted, where activated carbon from pyrolysis of tires was used as a sorbent. The chrome as a heavy metal was used. The sorbent was supplied by BYDOZA CZ, Ltd., a company conducting pyrolysis of used tires and other waste.
