Abstract
The goal of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the competitiveness of the retail company and determination of proposals and recommendations for improvement. In the theoretical section, the basic concepts relating to competition and competitiveness and the methods used in their analysis, are defined. In the practical part is internal and external strategic analysis and business potential is detected by diagnostic methods that GM-TREND. The last part of thesis deals with suggestions and recommendation for improving the situation of the company.
