Připravenost vybraných jednotek sborů dobrovolných hasičů na povodně

Abstract

Bachelor’s dissertation deals with issues of voluntary fire brigades and their flood-related preparedness. I put together abstract of statistics of flooded houses during floods in some chosen villages in region of Novy Jicin from 2007 to 2012. My questionnaire survey shows what activities were carried on during flooding and which fire-fighting equipment is available. The other part describes pumps used by firemen and flow-through capacity measurements were taken. Comparing parameters presented by producer, measured end results and price of pumps I worked out a multi-criterial analysis showing us which pumps are the most suitable to pump up water out of the flooded buildings.
