Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of charging station for prototype vehicle SC Micro. The aim of this work was to create a functional and safe and portable solution that will enable the SC Micro battery system to be charged efficiently. The thesis includes analysis of current charging technologies, selection of suitable charger, design and construction of the station, its production and testing. Emphasis was placed on optimizing structural elements such as frame, vents for cooling the entire assembly, support mechanism and covering. Part of the work is also a description of can communication between the charger and the vehicle, which ensures control of the charging process.
