Obnovitelné zdroje energií ČR – teplo a elektřina z biomasy

Abstract

This thesis describes biomass as a renewable energy source and methods used for its extraction and usage, especially in its combustion to produce heat and electricity. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and compare the investments of biomass steam boilers at four different locations in the Czech Republic. Based on the evaluation and comparison results, the thesis also assesses the potential development of biomass in energy mix in the Czech Republic.
