Abstract

This diploma thesis analysis inventory management in a manufacturer company. The theoretical part defines the various concepts of logistics, inventory analysis, purchasing and storage. The practical part is focused on the characteristics of Tonak a. s. Further, it describes the shopping process and inventory management in the manufacturer company. By ABC and XYZ analyses, the inventory of storage of chemicals and dyes have been sorted out. Consequently, it was reviewed whether the system of inventory management is effective and proposals have been made in order to bring some improvement to the manufacturer company.
