Implementace nástroje pro podporu výuky bezpečnosti počítačových sítí

Abstract

Master’s thesis aims to create a software application that could be used as a support tool during networking classes, mainly in the field of network security against common cyberattacks targeting lower layers of the ISO-OSI model. The application focuses on the 2. and 3. layer of the model, where we can use several methods to manipulate traffic and limit, or completely restrict, access to the system resources of the affected device. The main goal of the application is to enable the user to perform network attacks in an isolated environment, see their possible impact, and also use it as a tool to validate the configuration of affected network devices.
